04 / BEFORE APPLICATION

Know the surface.
Choose with confidence.

The aircraft, substrate, finish and operating conditions determine the right coating system.

01Which Nasiol coatings suit aircraft surfaces?

Omniphob protects compatible exterior finishes and radomes. C Series is for aircraft glass, T Series protects compatible cabin textiles, and LC12 is developed for natural and artificial leather seating.

02What exterior surfaces can be considered?

The Omniphob range is developed for thermoset, thermoplastic, metal and painted surfaces. The exact formulation must be selected for the aircraft substrate, finish and operating conditions.

03What protection can nano coatings provide?

Depending on the selected system, Nasiol coatings can add water and oil repellency, dirt and stain resistance, easier cleaning, UV and chemical protection, moisture and saltwater resistance, and a high-gloss finish.

04Can aircraft glass be nano coated?

Yes. C Series is a transparent coating for compatible glass and ceramic surfaces, including aircraft glass. It provides 99% transparency together with water and oil repellency, easier cleaning and reduced icing.

05Does this replace certified aircraft de-icing?

No. Reduced ice adhesion is a surface benefit only. A nano coating does not replace the aircraft's approved anti-icing or de-icing systems and procedures.

06How does coating affect routine cleaning?

Water-, oil-, dirt- and stain-repellent surfaces are easier to clean, helping reduce the effort needed to remove everyday surface contamination.
